Q: What confidential services are offered through Roseau Area Hospital’s new Behavioral Health department?
A: The Behavioral Health department provides counseling and psychotherapy services on an outpatient basis to individuals, couples, and families. The department combines psychologists and clinical social workers for a well-rounded therapeutic approach. Behavioral Health treats a host of conditions including anxiety and depression, issues of past abuse or neglect, eating disorders, self-esteem, personality disorders, anger control, family problems with child behavior issues, substance abuse effects, relationship difficulties, domestic violence, custody issues, and issues leading to and following divorce.
Q: What can you tell me about the staff members?

Jan Carr is Director of Behavioral Health. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and has provided services to RAHH for 15 years. Raised in Roseau, she received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Moorhead State University and a graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota. She started the process of developing the current department and became director in 2002. The department grew to its current size under her direction.
Patricia Hunter, Ph.D., (Psychologist) grew up in Badger, Minnesota. She completed her bachelors degree in Psychology, masters in Counseling, and doctorate in Counseling at UND in Grand Forks. She completed her doctoral internship at the VA Hospital in Dansville, Illinois in 2006. She has experience and special interest in cases involving adult inpatients and outpatients, substance abuse, trauma, mental retardation, and severe psychopatholigies. She treats patients in Roseau, Warroad and Baudette.
Adam Guilmino, Ph.D., (Psychologist) was born and raised in Louisiana. He received a B.A. in Psychology from Loyola University of New Orleans in 2001 and earned his Ph.D. in Counseling from UND in 2006. He provides psychological services one day a week in Greenbush and Baudette in addition to services at RAHH that encompass a wide spectrum of mental health issues.
Kim Guilmino, LGSW, (Mental Health Therapist) grew up in Carrington, North Dakota. She earned her bachelors and masters degrees in Social Work from UND. She joined RAHH in 2006 where she provides mental health services in addition to trips to Warroad and Baudette one day a week. She moved to Roseau from Indiana, where she provided outpatient mental health services to people with severe and persistent mental illness.
Katysue Tillman, LPC, MA, (Mental Health Therapist) earned a bachelors in Psychology from Mary Baldwin College, a masters in Community and School Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at UND. She joined RAH in 2005 and has interests in child and adolescent counseling including post traumatic stress disorder and mood and behavioral problems. She conducts psychological evaluations, child and adolescent psychotherapy, and play therapy.
Paul Stebbins, LPC, MA, (Mental Health Therapist) grew up in Buffalo, New York. He earned his BIS in Psychology and History from Arizona State University, his MA degree in Counseling Psychology at Boston College, and is pursuing his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at UND. He specializes in child and adolescent psychology, mood disorders, and adolescent depression.
Tricia N. Tveit of Roseau is the Behavioral Health Unit Coordinator. She received her Associate of Applied Science degree for Medical Administrative Secretary at Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls and joined Roseau Area Hospital and Homes in 2006.
